Overview
Both Rochester Manufacturing Group stamping shops stamp non-metal materials as well as metal. Stever Locke in Honeoye Falls has done precision stamping since 1946, holding dimensions to ±.0005" on parts from .004" to .100" thick.
Stever Locke stamps mica, Nomex, Mylar, Lexan, PVC, acetates, glass polyester, fiberboards, insulation boards, industrial laminates, paper, and adhesives. Rochester Stampings in Rochester stamps acetal, fiber, phenolics, polyester, Viton, UHMW polyethylene, and neoprene, and makes non-metal washers from Kapton, FR4, nylon, Delrin, and ABS.

Which non-metal materials can you stamp?

What volumes can you run?
Stever Locke takes both low- and high-volume jobs at 1,000 to 7,000 parts per hour, and Rochester Stampings runs both short and long jobs.
Can you make the metal parts for the same assembly?
Yes. Both shops stamp metal as well as non-metal parts. Stever Locke offers assembly and kitting, and Rochester Stampings does assembly work.
